At Treyton Oak Towers, we make wellness part of everyday life. With a dedicated Wellness Director, engaging classes, and a supportive community, residents have the resources they need to stay active, feel their best, and continue doing the things they love.

Leigh Pittenger, Wellness Director

Dedicated wellness expertise from a trusted source.

Leigh brings a unique combination of wellness expertise, teaching experience, and thoughtful leadership to her role as Wellness Director. She has nearly a decade of experience as a yoga and fitness instructor, with certifications in group fitness, aquatic fitness, therapeutic yoga, SAIL fall prevention, and Adult CPR/AED.

Leigh’s wellness work includes leading yoga, chair stretch, gentle aquatic fitness, balance, strength-training, and fall-prevention classes, with a focus on safe movement, accessibility, and encouragement.

Leigh also has an extensive academic background, including a Ph.D. from Emory University, a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University Divinity School, a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Middle Tennessee State University. Having taught at Rhodes College, Christian Brothers University, and other institutions, Leigh brings strong communication skills, compassion, and a deep respect for lifelong learning to her work supporting residents in living with strength, balance, confidence, and joy.
