Another of the many resources available to Treyton Oak Towers residents are the weekly fitness classes and relaxation sessions. The Flexercise class utilizes hand-held weights and elastic bands and is great for muscular strength and range of movement. The Yoga Stretch increases flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation promotes stress reduction and mental clarity. The Forever Fit Cardio Dance combines fun and fitness while increasing cardiovascular and muscular endurance using elastic tubing to move with music choreography. And you can move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength and range of movement with our Sit n’ Fit class using balls and elastic bands to build an easy but fun workout.
Our Wellness Coordinator monitors vitals including blood pressure and heart rate and tracks these vitals for all participants. Our residents love our fitness classes as well as our relaxation sessions and massage therapy.
